Join your colleagues for FREE one-day workshops in art education that
introduce participants to the interactive resources at AEContent.net.
Afternoon sessions feature guest instructors and focus on specific
issues in art education.

Drawing from Observation

Back by popular demand!
Learn new, creative ways to teach observation drawing to students. Flex
your own creative muscles, and those of your students, through drawing
exercises that engage all the senses.
March 11, 2006
New Media in the Art Classroom
Instructors: Eleanor Ramsay, TBD
Participants will explore various ways of expanding the classroom with
technology. Learn to create and maintain an online gallery of work
using AEContent and other free services for educators. We’ll also
discuss effective Internet use, online safety, technology issues, and
multimedia. Bring some digital images or work you’d like to scan.

The Workshops run from 10am until 5pm.
In addition, each participant spends an additional 3 hours exploring
AEContent or completing a project tied to the session subject, for a
total of 10 hours, or 10 PDPs.
