On Sunday May 23rd the public is invited into artists' studios located in Boston's South End.
The specific studio locations are on or just off off Washington Street. The revitalization of the area (a city sponsored "main streets" project) has been underway for a number of years and continues to grow.
In addition to the studios, there are art galleries, restaurants, and other small businesses.
New to the Open Studios is a market place complete with a farmers' market and vendors selling antiques/etc.
The area is accessible by the "Silver" line and visitors can also get there by taking the "Orange" line and walking a few blocks east.
