Kathy Douglas is keeping a daily journal of the Massart "Renewal, Support and Growth" Summer Institute Animating the Curriculum Frameworks. July 5-9, 2004. You can read along at the course pages.
Taught by John Crowe, this intensive studio course addresses the vitality of the unexplored aspects of the Massachusetts Visual Arts Standards. Specifically, concentration will focus on Standards 6-10.
Images from the course will be posted in the gallery throughout the week.
Using playful studio and conceptual approaches, participants will construct a portfolio that represents the weeklong workshop experience and then present this work in a gallery setting (physical or virtual). Additionally, visiting guest artists enrich the studio immersion experience.
